Celebrating the Heart of Delta Kappa Gamma

Our Members Make the Difference

In every thriving community organization, there’s a heartbeat that drives progress, compassion, and impact. For Delta Kappa Gamma (DKG), that heartbeat is you — our members. From local classrooms to international forums, DKG members are the driving force behind the Society’s mission to support women educators and promote excellence in education.

Across Georgia and beyond, DKG members play a vital role in advancing philanthropic efforts that uplift communities. Through scholarships, grants, and financial assistance, our members help women pursue education and professional development, both locally and around the globe. This commitment ensures that promising educators have the tools and support they need to thrive.

But the impact doesn’t stop there.

Our members are also active on the world stage, participating in international committees and initiatives that shape education policy and advocate for gender equity. Whether addressing global issues or supporting neighborhood schools, DKG members bring passion and purpose to every level of their work.

Here in our community, members are advocating for key issues like mental health in schools, food insecurity among students, and fair opportunities for women in education. These efforts go hand in hand with DKG’s core values: unity, honor, advancement, support, and intellectual stimulation.

And while DKG is about making a difference, it’s also about growing together. Members gain access to leadership development programs, networking opportunities, and resources that enhance both personal and professional life. Whether you're a teacher, professor, or administrator, DKG offers a place to lead, learn, and belong.

Perhaps most inspiring of all is the strong sense of community that DKG fosters. Lifelong friendships, mentorship, and encouragement create a bond among members that extends far beyond meetings and events.

In Delta Kappa Gamma, we don’t just support educators — we are educators supporting each other and changing the world, one classroom, one community, and one connection at a time.

Because when members lead with PURPOSE and PASSION, great things happen.
